Home Made Biltong at Home
I make biltong at home every week in the winter with my kids showing them our family traditions.
We use a nice piece of sirloin steak and cut it into thick slices.
We then use spices that we bought from amazon. We cover the meat in the spices and then let it marinate for a few hours in the fridge.
Once it has marinaded we hang it in our biltong maker where it dries for 5 days.
Once the biltong is done, it doesn't last long on the house as the kids and family love it.
You can use other meat to make biltong like Topside or brisket.
You can make your own blend of spices to marinate the biltong
You can even make your own biltong machine to dry your biltong in.
It is really up to you and your imagination.
